I hate how smf smilies work. There's a very limited set of basic smilies and just to add more choices I had to add a weird mod.
vBulletin smilies admin is much easier.

Limit adding your website to members here a month or with X number of posts. There are several members with ad/spammy websites that aren't posting. I don't mind a member here having their business linked, but looks like we are attracting some riff-raff.
I don't think we're in Kansas anymore....
That's usually inevitable with online forums that aren't closed to the public.
I'm used to weeding them out. Once they show themselves, they'll be gone.

If there was a way to jump to the last read post in a thread that would be awesome. The old site had it and although it wasn't always perfect, it was usually pretty close.
Also, and this may not matter because of the move tomorrow, but is there a way to disable it from telling you that someone posted while you were writing your own post and that you might want to reconsider posting?

A 'Forum Basics' sticky with how to add pictures, how to decrease picture size if necessary, explaining the new gmfeatures of the new software - blogging, picture gallery, etc. in an easily understandable form.
