I tried to register for Zelle. But when it said "next" and I pushed Next, it logged me out.
Oh well. This is for my March budget anyway. I'll try next week.

Sometimes you just have to do what feels right with your money instead of what is "optimal". Too many focus on optimal outcomes, when good enough is good enough. (Thanks to Retired @ 50)
I stopped at the bank today to ask about Zelle. They said if I don't give them a cell phone number, I can't use Zelle through them. They said Zelle works by cell phone numbers.
Do I have a cell? Yes. Do I give out the number? No. I give out my landline. The bank has my landline.
The bank said I can download the Zelle app and that Zelle won't spam me if I enter my cell in the app.
I know I'm being stubborn about giving the bank my cell, but they do marketing calls from time to time and that's what the landline is for.
So what do you think? Am I safe from spam calls and thieves if I download the app?
If I download it, can I delete it later?
I've donated by Pay Pal in the past but if Gertie is phasing it out.....it feels like I'm sabotaging her efforts to use Pay Pal. (But not saying I won't use Pay Pal.)
Advice?
